The last novel I read was City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare. I was inspired by the character Isabelle Lightwood.
Dressed up in her best lace
Whip curled around her arm
Battle ground is her choice place;
No Parabatai
But eager to fight for herself
Her brother she stands by;
Others she protects,
Steamy relationships from charm,
Elders she respects
Nobody innocent she would harm
Fighting demons is her thing
Sometimes misunderstood
Never afraid to wear a bit of bling:
